Speak Out Africa Initiative celebrates seven years of advancing accountable governance, grassroots transparency, civic engagement, and youth empowerment across Nigeria and Africa. Voter Register Crisis: CSOs, Speak Out Africa Initiative Make Formal Demands to INEC
Speak Out Africa Initiative and civil society organisations have outlined nine formal demands to INEC over concerns about the preliminary voter register ahead of Nigeria’s 2027 elections. Their demands address publication delays, unrestricted voter access, alleged duplicate entries, statutory compliance, and transparent procedures for correcting discrepancies before the final register is certified.
